Jon Stephan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in silicon architecture and product reliability. Currently serving as a Principal Architect at SiFive since January 2023, Jon previously held the role of Principal Silicon Architect Engineer at Intel Corporation from May 2020 to January 2023, where significant contributions included developing Xeon processor soft error rate modeling capabilities and innovative testing methodologies. Jon's earlier tenure at Intel, spanning from 1995 to May 2013, involved various roles focused on quality and reliability engineering, including system-level beam testing coordination and product SER performance assessment. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, obtained in 1995.
