Shashank Pasupuleti is currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer I at Sierra Space, starting in January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Tribomechadynamics Lab at Rice University, where responsibilities involved the design, implementation, and testing of impact dynamics and tensile testing for composite materials. Shashank has also worked as a SCADA Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc., focusing on renewable energy power plant systems, and held the role of Communications Director for a senior design project sponsored by Lockheed Martin Space Systems at the Design Center Colorado. Additionally, Shashank's early experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, where research centered on the design of flexible printed circuit boards for cosmic dust spectrometer instruments, and as a Research Intern at Pluralsoft, Inc. with a focus on healthcare analytics. Shashank holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
