Dalen Kruse is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation since November 2021, Dalen previously held multiple roles at Viasat Inc. from August 2016 to October 2021, including Software Engineering Manager for NextGen Tactical Data Links. Dalen’s tenure at Lockheed Martin from May 1998 to July 2016 involved significant responsibilities such as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Command & Control/Air Defense Software Product Line Architect, focusing on software development, technical export control, and sensor integration. Dalen's career began as a college intern at Boeing in 1997, following the completion of a Computer Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1998.
