Varun Nagaraj currently serves as Dean at S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research since September 2021, following a diverse career in academia and leadership roles across various companies. Nagaraj has extensive experience as a Visiting Faculty member from 2015 to July 2021, teaching digital innovation and product management at institutions such as the University of Notre Dame and Boston University, while also collaborating with leading universities. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Bidgely, President and CEO at Sierra Monitor Corporation, and various executive positions at firms like Echelon and NetContinuum, where Nagaraj focused on IoT solutions and product management. Nagaraj holds a PhD in Designing Sustainable Systems from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and multiple degrees, including an MBA from Boston University and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
