Mihai Parparita is an experienced engineer, currently employed at New Company since April 2023. Previously, Mihai held positions at Tailscale, where notable achievements included porting Tailscale to the browser via WebAssembly and enhancing macOS and iOS clients with several features. At Slack, Mihai served as a Distinguished Engineer, leading the integration of Quip technologies into the Slack platform and contributing to the development of the Slack Canvas feature. With significant contributions at Quip, Mihai was a member of the initial engineering team, responsible for numerous key features prior to the 2013 launch. Mihai's extensive tenure at Google included roles with Google Chrome, Google Reader, and AdWords Frontend, focusing on enhancing web technologies and user interfaces. Early career experiences include internships at VMware and Microsoft. Mihai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, obtained in 2004.
