Melody Chew has over two decades of extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, currently serving as a Project Purchasing Specialist at Siemens since November 2011. In this role, Melody orchestrates strategies for securing essential resources for multimillion-dollar global projects, collaborating closely with Global Project Managers to develop tailored procurement plans while analyzing spending and monitoring key performance indicators. Prior experience includes serving as a Buyer at Verizon Wireless, where procurement strategies were implemented for a significant 4G LTE rollout, and holding supervisory positions at BlackBox Network Services and NextiraOne, LLC, overseeing teams of buyers and leading national procurement initiatives across various industries. Education includes coursework at Lone Star College-CyFair and North Harris College.
