José Machado is an experienced marketing and communications leader currently serving as the VP and Head of Analytics & AI at Siemens AG since October 2015. In this role, José enables data-driven decision-making in communications and marketing, overseeing data management, performance measurement, and generative AI initiatives. Previously, José held various leadership positions within Siemens, including Head of Digital Engagement & Branding for Smart Infrastructure and Head of Brand-to-Demand Programs, where José developed impactful marketing campaigns. With a strong background in corporate communications across multiple regions, including Africa and Europe, José has established a robust track record in strategic planning, brand positioning, and demand generation. José holds a BA in Communications and a BA Honours in Marketing Communications from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma from GIBS Business School.
