Richard Nelson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various prominent law firms and federal service. Since October 2004, Richard has served as a Partner and Co-Chair of the Brand Integrity and Innovation Group at Sideman & Bancroft LLP, while co-founding True Pedigree in January 2018. Previously, Richard held the position of Partner at Sidley Austin and Skerven Morrill LLP, as well as serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorneys' Offices. Richard began a legal career as an Associate at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro. Academically, Richard holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Santa Clara University, with additional studies at Heidelberg University.
