Thomas Dübendorfer has a diverse work experience. Thomas is the President and Founder of SICTIC since 2014, and a Member of the Board of Directors at Locatee AG since 2015. In 2013, they co-founded and became an investor and member of the Board of Directors at Frontify. Additionally, they have served as the Chairman of swisssecurity.org since 2012. From 2012 to 2019, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at ServiceHunter AG | quitt.ch, where they facilitated administrative work and ensured proper insurance and social security for private households employing service personnel. Thomas also worked as an Associate Partner at CGZ Consulting Group Zurich, Inc. from 2016 to 2018, focusing on business strategy, digital transformation, innovation, startups, and security and privacy of information technologies. Furthermore, Thomas Dübendorfer served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Coach at Beekeeper from 2014 to 2017, where they contributed to employee engagement and communication. Thomas was actively involved in promoting innovation and supporting Swiss startups through their role as a CTI Label - CCB Member at the Commission for Technology and Innovation CTI / KTI from 2013 to 2017. Lastly, they acted as a FinTech Mentor at Kickstart Accelerator from 2016 to 2017, providing guidance and mentorship to technology startups. Alongside their professional experiences, they have also served as a lecturer at ETH Zurich from 2007 to 2017.

Thomas Dübendorfer holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, which they obtained from 1995 to 2001. Thomas continued their education at ETH Zürich and completed their PhD in Computer Science from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they pursued studies in security and obtained a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) degree from ISC2, which they started in 2003 and is ongoing until 2023.
