Ahmed Nasr

Ahmed Nasr has a diverse range of work experience in various companies. Ahmed started their career as a Summer Intern at Wafrah Co, where they gained knowledge in food production. Ahmed then worked as a Summer Intern at Araak, where they focused on installation and learned about the Pepsi Factory. Ahmed then had a role as a Summer Intern at Volvo Construction Equipment, where they gained experience in the construction industry.

After their internships, Ahmed joined Haggar Group as a Maintenance Engineer, serving in Pasgianous Food & Beverage company for one year. Ahmed then joined DAL Food as a Plant Maintenance Supervisor, where they managed lean manufacturing projects and supervised operational and technical projects. Ahmed later joined Al Rawabi as a Plant Maintenance Manager, where they were responsible for optimizing service performance management and overseeing capacity expansion projects.

Ahmed then moved on to Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc as an Engineering Manager, focusing on asset and resource improvement. Currently, they are working at SICPA as a Director of Operations, overseeing operational activities and leading a global service excellence program.

Overall, Ahmed Nasr has experience in maintenance management, operational strategy, and service excellence across various industries.

Ahmed Nasr's education history is as follows:

Ahmed Nasr obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Khartoum, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Ahmed then pursued a Lean Competency System, L1c certification from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2012.

In 2013, Ahmed Nasr enrolled in Heriot-Watt University and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Their area of focus was the financial impact of visibility across the supply chain, and they graduated in 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Ahmed Nasr has acquired a diverse range of qualifications. Ahmed obtained the Minitab Essentials certification from Minitab in November 2021. Earlier in October 2021, they participated in coaching sessions with a focus on decision making, commercial acumen, and innovative thinking at Ezra Coaching.

Ahmed Nasr completed the Strategy Planning & Execution certification from Harvard Business School Online in December 2018. Prior to that, in November 2018, they completed the Team Creation certification, also from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, in July 2018, they obtained the Retaining Employees certification from the same institution.

Furthermore, Ahmed Nasr obtained the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from the LEORON Institute in September 2016. Ahmed also became a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT) in August 2016. In February 2016, they earned the Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) certification from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.

In November 2015, Ahmed Nasr obtained the Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB) certification from Gazelles Management Consultancy. Prior to that, in September 2014, they completed the Certified International Supply Chain Professional (CISCP) certification from The International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute.

Before pursuing their master's degree, Ahmed Nasr obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2013.

Furthermore, in 2012, Ahmed Nasr acquired several certifications from Simpler Consulting, including Flow Cells, Problem Solving and Corrective Action, Seeing Waste, Standard Work, 6S, A3 Thinking, Effective Team Management, and RIE Cycle.

Lastly, in April 2010, they obtained the Control System Maintenance certification from Tetra Pak.
