Nicola Jackson started their work experience in 2003 as a Partner at Bell Dewar. Nicola worked in this role until January 2013. In March 2003, they also became a Partner at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and held this position until October 2017. In November 2017, Nicola joined Sibanye-Stillwater as the Vice President of Business Development, where they are currently working.

Nicola Jackson earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in the years 1995 to 2000. Nicola is currently pursuing an Executive Strategy Certification Programme at the University of Oxford, with an expected completion date of 2023. Additionally, Nicola has attended St Andrews and the University of Oxford, although their specific studies or degrees at these institutions are not provided.
