Pascale Gaudet serves as the neXtProt Scientific Manager at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics since October 2010, overseeing the scientific content of the neXtProt human-centric protein database. Gaudet has been an Executive Committee Member of the International Society for Biocuration since January 2009, including a tenure as Chair from 2009 to 2014, and contributes as an Editor for the DATABASE journal at Oxford University Press. Involvement with the Gene Ontology since 2006 includes managing the Reference Genome Project, which focuses on comprehensive annotation of model organism genomes. Gaudet has held various academic roles at Northwestern University from 2003 to 2013, including Adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Professor, while also working as a Scientific BioCurator at dictyBase, where responsibilities encompass genome annotation and gene function curation. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biology from Concordia University, attained between 1996 and 2001.
