Jason Washburn is currently a Solutions Architect at Shyft Solutions. Prior to that, they spent 21 years in the United States Air Force, where they most recently served as the Director Of Maintenance. In this role, Jason led 480 military and civilian contractor maintenance personnel on 29 WC/OC/TC/RC-135 aircraft valued at $4.2 Billion. Jason was responsible for managing maintenance efforts on Low Supply / High Demand aircraft to support worldwide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations for POTUS, SecDef, NSA, and DTRA missions. Jason also developed long & short-range maintenance strategies to ensure long term fleet health and managed daily & weekly flying schedules. In addition to their leadership roles, Jason also served as a mentor and trainer for assigned personnel, enforcing compliance with Air Force Instructions & Technical Order directives.
Jason Washburn has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from American Military University, an Associate's degree in Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Jason also has a Professional Manager Certification from the Community College of the Air Force.
Jason Washburn reports to Justin Worrell, Co-Founder & CTO. They are on a team with Brendan Purcell - Solutions Architect, Matthew Hotovy - Software Engineer Intern, and Adam Schmidt - Software Engineer.
