Jorge Algaba Aranda is a Senior Video Player Engineer at ShowHeroes Group, specializing in AdTech and video player development since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jorge served as a Senior Software Engineer at Crunchyroll, where contributions included integrating Shaka player with various streaming technologies and implementing client-side ad insertion. Experience also includes a position as a Software Engineer at Accedo.tv, focusing on the development of a VOD app for HAYU across multiple platforms. Earlier, Jorge worked with cutting-edge technologies at NexStreaming, enhancing video player solutions for DASH and HLS protocols. Starting in .NET development as an intern at GRUPO SOLUTIO, Jorge possesses an MS in Software Engineering from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja and a background in entertainment technology from Nord University as well as a degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Videogames from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
