William Schaper has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. William is currently employed as the Director of Student Services at Adelphi International, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, William worked as a Business Analyst in Executive Finance at Bridgewater Associates from June 2021 to January 2022.

William has a strong background in student services, having worked at Shorelight Education from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they held multiple roles, including Associate Student Services Director at Adelphi International and Assistant Director of Student Services at Auburn Global. In these positions, they were responsible for training and mentoring staff, managing logistics, maintaining relationships with housing partners, and providing personalized assistance to students.

Before joining Shorelight Education, William worked as the Head of Research at Climate Change - The New Economy from 2013 to 2015. William'sresponsibilities included identifying and soliciting thought leaders to contribute to the publication on climate change topics.

William's earlier experience includes working as an English Language Instructor and North American Cultural Ambassador at UCETAM from 2012 to 2014, and as an English Language & Cultural Assistant for the Spanish government from 2009 to 2012.

William Schaper (He/Him/His) attended UCLA from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations and Spanish. In 2008 and 2009, they participated in an Academic Year Abroad program at La Universidad de Chile, studying History, Latin American Literature, and International Law. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various project management and Scrum-related certifications in 2020 from institutions such as LinkedIn and Udemy.
