Syed Muqsit Razee has a diverse work experience across various industries. Syed Muqsit currently works at ShopUp as the Head of Market Strategy & Planning, where they are responsible for designing and executing long-term strategies for delivering food to a large population in Bangladesh. Prior to this, they held the role of Sales Operations Lead at Mokam Commodity, where they successfully transformed the business into a positive EBITDA and introduced new revenue streams. Syed Muqsit also worked as a Lead Manager at Commodity Business, expanding the wholesale business to all districts in Bangladesh. In addition, they have experience as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager at different companies, where they developed scalable software products for supply chain management. Before their career in the corporate world, Syed Muqsit Razee held leadership roles as President of the IUT Debating Society and Debate Coach at Bangladesh International School and College and South Breeze School.

Syed Muqsit Razee completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology between 2013 and 2016. Syed Muqsit then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Development Studies with a focus on BIGD from BRAC University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their university education, Syed Muqsit Razee studied Science and Accounting, completing their A levels from Manarat Dhaka International College from 2010 to 2012 and O Levels from the same institution from 1997 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications including a Product Management Executive Certification Programme from the Indian School of Business in 2022, Learning Microsoft Power BI Desktop from LinkedIn in 2020, and several certifications related to Industrial Work Standards (IWS) from BAT in 2019.
