Willyam Arcand currently serves as a Software Development Engineer III at Shopify, focusing on Merchant Services and Shipping since January 2022. In this role, Willyam develops scalable low-latency solutions that facilitate the delivery of over 2 billion tracking updates monthly and contribute to significant revenue generation in shipping products, utilizing technologies such as Redis, Kafka, MySQL, and Ruby on Rails. Prior experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer at Coveo from May 2021 to December 2021, along with a tutoring position at Cégep Garneau, where Willyam provided guidance in C# programming and web development from January 2020 to December 2021. Willyam holds a Diploma of College Studies in Computer Science from Cégep Garneau, completed in June 2022.
