Victor Vuong is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in tech giants and a strong background in software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Shopify since January 2024, Victor previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Google from January 2018 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading teams focused on Google Cloud Platform's front-end infrastructure, UI design, accessibility systems, and enhancing developer experience. Prior to Google, Victor spent over 14 years at Microsoft in various roles, including Principal Software Engineering Manager, where contributions were made to the Healthcare NExT initiative and the Microsoft Health web experiences. Viktor's foundational experience began at the CRESST National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing as a Software Engineer. Victor Vuong holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA, earned between 1999 and 2003.
