Ahmed Elhossaini is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently, Ahmed holds the position of Staff Developer for the Merchant Analytics Data Platform and the Discovery Experience at Shopify since April 2022. Prior to Shopify, Ahmed served as a Senior Software Engineer II at Transfix and worked in various capacities at Universe, including Data Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Ahmed's career also includes significant roles at Souq.com as Engineering Manager, LandmarkShops.com as Senior Frontend Engineer, and entrepreneurship as the CEO and Founder of splinterme. With a solid foundation in web development and backend technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Ahmed has contributed to numerous projects, showcasing expertise in agile methodologies and software architecture design. Ahmed earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Alexandria University.
