Sho Rust has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a Founder at Sho.AI, a Professor of Design at ArtCenter College of Design, a Lead Brand Technical Designer and Sr. UI/UX Designer at BCG Digital Ventures, a Co-Founder at RAREFORM, a Design Head at Urb-e, a Design Matters Fellow at the United Nations Population Fund, a Freelance Designer and Full Time Paid Design Intern at B-Reel, and a Freelance Designer and Full Time Paid Design Intern at Wondros. They have also worked as a TA at Art Center College of Design. Sho has experience in AI-enabled software solutions, brand creation and management, innovation and product development, eco-friendly product design, and creating designs for high-profile events.

Sho Rust started their education at Osaka International School, where they studied and completed their grade school education from 1993 to 2002. Following that, they attended the Saint Louis Art Museum, where they received private instruction in fine art from 2004 to 2006. Sho then enrolled in the Interlochen Arts Academy from 2006 to 2009, majoring in Fine Arts for their high school education. In 2008, Sho briefly attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in graphic design with a focus on motion. Finally, from 2009 to 2015, they pursued their undergraduate degree at ArtCenter College of Design, majoring in GPK (Graphic/Packaging Design).
