Associate Director Of Product Development at SHL Medical

Jackson Chen has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and design engineering. Jackson started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at the Industrial Technology Research Institute from 2003 to 2007, where they worked on projects such as full electric injection molding machine design and a soccer robot project. Jackson then joined Yuanda Xin Technology Co., Ltd as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in 2007.

In 2008, Jackson Chen joined SHL Medical as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they worked until 2010. Jackson then progressed to the role of Mechanical Design Leader from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they contributed to the mechanical design and development of needle-based injection systems.

In 2015, they were promoted to the position of Manager at SHL Medical, leading a design department and overseeing interdisciplinary teams involved in research, innovation, development, and design transfer for needle-based injection systems. Jackson continued in this role until 2020.

From 2020 to 2023, Jackson Chen served as a Senior Manager and Associate Director of Product Development at SHL Medical. In these roles, they led two design departments, managing a team of approximately 45 members and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Jackson was instrumental in creating and revising design processes and tools for mechanical and electromechanical needle-based injection systems.

Throughout their career, Jackson Chen has demonstrated leadership skills and played a key role in innovation and development networks, representing SHL Medical as a design representative.

Jackson Chen has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Jackson further pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Cheng Kung University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.
