Shantanu Bhatt is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Shipt since December 2021, Shantanu previously held positions at Deloitte Consulting as a Data Science Specialist and Analyst, as well as a Data and Machine Learning Analyst at PubMatic. Prior roles include Data Science Analyst at Lumi, Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Data Analyst Practicum Student at Google, where Shantanu focused on analyzing the impact of weather on commodity prices. Additional experience includes internships in equity research at CIMB and business analytics at Grant Thornton LLP. Shantanu holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from RV College Of Engineering.
