Himanshu Kapse is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and improving customer experiences across various organizations. Currently serving as Engineering Leader at Shipt since April 2021, Himanshu has established an experimentation culture to enhance AI-based recommendations for customers. Previously, as Director of Engineering at Albertsons Companies, Himanshu built and led a team of 37, managing a $15M portfolio and focusing on cloud-native applications. At Macys.com, Himanshu successfully implemented revenue-generating features and managed a significant credit services migration project. Earlier roles include Senior Designer at Kaiser Permanente, where leadership of an Agile/Scrum team was pivotal for modernization, and Technical Lead at Visa, fostering collaboration between development teams and business units. Himanshu holds a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, along with certifications in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School Online and Stagen Leadership Academy.
