Merdan Erdogan has worked in the logistics industry since 2004. Merdan started their career at Turkon Container Shipping and Transport Inc. as a Pricing Executive and Agency and Cost Control Executive. In 2006, they moved to Costa Container Lines as a Sales & Marketing Executive. In 2007, they joined UASC as Export Sales Manager. In 2012, they became Co-Founder of MOGGOM BILISIM VE TICARET A.S. and in 2013, they joined ORIGIN LOGISTICS as Managing Director. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of ShipsGo.

Merdan Erdogan obtained a Licentiate degree in Maritime Business and Management from Dokuz Eylul University between 1998 and 2003. Merdan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Business Information Systems from Boğaziçi University, which they obtained in 2023.
