Ugo Pieretti has a long history of working in the finance industry. Ugo began their career in 1997 as a Financial Controller for Cardinal Health. In 1999, they moved to Champion Europe Group in the same role. In 2002, they became the Chief Financial Officer (C.F.O.) for Patrizia Pepe, where they were responsible for managing the finance function, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and ensuring compliance with fiscal and legal requirements. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer for Cavalleria Toscana S.p.A., and they are currently the Chief Financial Officer for ShippyPro.

Ugo Pieretti completed their Laurea Indirizzo aziendale anno 1994 in Economica e Commercio from the Università degli Studi di Firenze between 1988 and 1994. In 2006, they completed a Master of Executive Business Administration (EMBA) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in Almaweb Bologna.
