Krishna Rana has over 10 years of experience in quality assurance and microbiology roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, Krishna is working as a Senior Quality Assurance Product Specialist at Shionogi Inc. In this role, Krishna's responsibilities include ensuring product quality and compliance.

Prior to joining Shionogi Inc., Krishna worked at Cambrex as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist from July 2018 to January 2022. In this role, Krishna gained extensive knowledge and experience in cGMP manufacturing, quality, and compliance. Krishna was responsible for reviewing batch records, protocols, reports, and other documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures. Krishna also conducted real-time reviews of manufacturing and packaging batch records on the shop floor.

Before Cambrex, Krishna worked at INGENUS PHARMACEUTICAL, NJ LLC as a Quality Assurance professional from April 2015 to July 2018. In this role, Krishna was responsible for inspecting and overseeing production activities to ensure compliance with cGMPs, DEA, FDA, and standard operating procedures. Krishna also reviewed and approved manufacturing and packaging batch records, as well as issued stability protocols, validation protocols, and other relevant documentation.

Krishna began their career as a Microbiologist at VAPI CARE Pharma Pvt Ltd in June 2011 and worked there until April 2014. In this role, Krishna maintained quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment, and performing microbial limit tests of water, raw materials, and finished products.

Krishna Rana completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, General from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, from 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, Krishna pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology, General from the same institution.
