Matthias Harbers is an experienced scientist with a robust background in genomic technologies and protein expression. Currently serving as an Advisor at SNBL since December 2022, Matthias previously held significant roles at RIKEN as a Visiting Scientist from April 2013 to November 2022, contributing to advancements in digital expression profiling and PCR methods. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing at CellFree Sciences Co., Ltd. from April 2013 to November 2022, Matthias managed overseas sales and led projects in malaria research. Prior positions include Chief Scientific Officer at DNAFORM Inc., where responsibility encompassed technical oversight and business development, and multiple roles at RIKEN, shaping advancements in expression profiling and genome annotation. Matthias holds a PhD in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Hamburg, completed in 1991.
