Oleksii Prohonnyi has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Oleksii is currently working as a UI Engineer at ShiftLeft, Inc. since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at EPAM Systems as a Senior Software Engineer / Consultant from January 2017 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing architectural approaches, developing a library of reusable components, prioritizing and planning workload for UI teams, and integrating external applications.

Before joining EPAM Systems, Oleksii worked at Sigma Software Group. From August 2015 to January 2017, they served as a Senior Software Engineer / Lead, focusing on JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular.js. From January 2013 to August 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer and was responsible for architecture solutions and designing application architecture and integration modules. Additionally, from March 2012 to January 2013, Oleksii worked as a Software Developer, building and maintaining customer-facing applications using PHP, JavaScript, and various frameworks and tools.

Prior to their employment at Sigma Software Group, Oleksii worked as a self-employed Freelance Software Developer from May 2009 to March 2012.

From 2009 to 2014, Oleksii Prohonnyi attended Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics where they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering.
