Alexander Mitchell has extensive experience in sales and business development, currently serving as the Data, Derivatives & DeFi Sales Team Lead at Shift Markets since July 2021. In this role, Alexander assists financial firms in accessing innovative technologies and products. Prior to this, Alexander worked at Oracle as an Application Sales Executive, focusing on emerging businesses in Silicon Valley, and as a Business Development Consultant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, collaborating with the Vice Chancellor on the Heels for Homes project. Additionally, Alexander co-chaired the UNC Chapel Hill Habitat for Humanity, facilitating efforts to build affordable housing. Early career experiences include a sales role at Learning Express Toys. Alexander holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Hispanic Linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
