Meghan Youker Cone is the Chief Communications Officer at Sherman Independent School District since December 2022, bringing extensive experience in educational communications. Prior to this role, Meghan served as the Assistant Communications Director at Frisco ISD, where significant achievements included enhancing community awareness, contributing to bond and tax initiatives, and dramatically increasing social media followings. Meghan's career also includes a role as a Web Specialist at Fort Worth ISD, focusing on community involvement and website management, as well as experience in broadcast journalism as a News Reporter and Weekend Producer at Fox 42 KPTM and KLKN-TV. Meghan holds a Master's degree in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism, Political Science, and Spanish from Texas Christian University.
