Daniela Nachmanson is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Bioinformatics Consultant at Shepherd Bioinformatics LLC since June 2024, Daniela previously held various roles at TwinStrand Biosciences, culminating in the position of Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. Daniela's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego, where research focused on enhancing therapeutic options for pre-cancerous lesions, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with Departmental Honors from the University of Washington. Additional experience includes significant research positions that utilized next-generation sequencing technologies to investigate molecular alterations related to cancer.
