Joe Fernandes has extensive experience in both the steel and emergency services industries. Currently serving as General Manager at Shepard Steel Co since February 2007, Joe is responsible for reviewing bid documents, drawings, and specifications, as well as filling out bid forms. Simultaneously, Joe has held the position of Assistant Chief at South Hadley Fire Department since March 1985, where responsibilities include serving as an EMT/Basic, rescue team member, training officer, and duty officer. Prior to these roles, Joe worked at Kleeberg Sheet Metal from January 1985 to February 2007 as a sheet metal worker, specializing as a fabricator, welder, certified rigger, field foreman, and project manager.
