Sue-Ern Tan currently serves as the Head of Policy and Advocacy for the Asia Pacific region at Shell, where responsibilities include defining commercial policy opportunities and managing stakeholder relations. Prior roles at Shell included leadership positions focused on carbon policy and methane emissions strategy. Sue-Ern is also an Eisenhower Fellow, participating in the Global Program since 2017. Previous experience includes management roles at QGC and the NSW Minerals Council, along with advisory positions in government energy and mining policy. Educational background comprises a Commerce Law degree with first-class honors from UNSW and leadership programs at London Business School and INSEAD.
