Maud Haarsma is an experienced professional in the field of materials and corrosion engineering, currently serving as the Section Head of Mechanical and Corrosion Engineering at Shell Chemicals in Moerdijk since April 2014. Prior to this role, Maud was a Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer at the same company from 2008 to 2014. Maud's career began as a Metallurgy Specialist at ABB Lummus Global from 2000 to 2004, followed by a position as a Materials and Corrosion Specialist at Lloyd's Register EMEA from 2004 to 2008. Maud holds an MSc in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in Electrochemistry and Corrosion technology, from Delft University of Technology.
