Jorge Villalobos is an experienced engineering leader with a diverse background in energy and educational initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, and Turnarounds for Shell's Deepwater Operated Assets in Brazil, Jorge oversees critical projects involving FPSOs and subsea production systems. Previously, as Vice President of Shell WindEnergies, significant strategic initiatives resulted in an $80M turnaround over five years. Jorge is also the founder of CreatorScout, a company dedicated to educational gaming and book publishing, and a co-founder of Metropia, which targets advancements in urban transportation. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering respectively from The University of Texas at El Paso.
