Ali Hussain Motagamwala is a highly experienced chemical catalysis researcher and engineer, currently serving as a Research and Development Engineer at Shell since February 2020. With a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ali has also held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center. Notable achievements include the development and optimization of kinetic models for propane dehydrogenation and successful research on biomass conversion to value-added chemicals. Ali exhibits strong academic credentials with two accepted patents, funding acquisition, and numerous peer-reviewed publications.
