Alexander Edvardsen has extensive experience in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection engineering, currently serving as an Inspection Engineer at Shell since November 2011, where responsibilities include managing inspection programs and scope for critical equipment at the Nyhamna Gas Processing Plant. Prior to this role, Alexander co-founded Royal Consult AS and held positions as Manager and Senior Inspector, leading a team of independent consultants. Additional roles include NDT Level 3 at Linjebygg Offshore AS and AS Linjebygg, as well as early NDT Operator positions at Team Control AS and Norsk Test & Inspeksjon AS. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Non-Destructive Testing from the University of Northampton and numerous certifications in various NDT methods and welding inspection, reflecting a robust commitment to professional development in the field.
