
Shelby Farms Park Conservancy (SFPC or the Conservancy) is the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that manages and operates Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline through a private-public partnership with Shelby County Government. That means the land that comprises Shelby Farms Park and Greenline is publicly owned, and SFPC is responsible for daily management, fundraising to meet operations budget needs, setting the vision for the Park’s future and stewarding its natural resources.

With the support of our volunteers, donors and partners, we are doing just that!  Each year, SFPC raises 75% of the $5+ million annual operating budget through general donations, corporate and foundation support.

The Park Operations and Development team at Shelby Farms Park Conservancy is responsible for the effective management and enhancement of park facilities and infrastructure. This team oversees daily operations, coordinates maintenance activities, and works on strategic development projects to improve the park experience for visitors. Additionally, they engage in fundraising efforts and community outreach to secure resources and support for ongoing initiatives, ensuring the park remains a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable space for everyone.
