Helen Oades is an experienced project manager with a demonstrated history of working in children's education and community engagement. Currently serving as the Children’s University Project Manager at Sheffield Hallam University since March 2018, Helen has successfully expanded the Sheffield Children’s University into Rotherham and Barnsley, establishing individual CU centres and overseeing a strategic function for South Yorkshire CU. Prior to this role, Helen held several positions at Sheffield City Council, including Senior Projects Officer for Sheffield Children’s University, focusing on after-school learning initiatives, and managing the Extended Schools strategy. Helen's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Human Communication Sciences from The University of Sheffield.
