Carol Castle has extensive experience in student recruitment and admissions within higher education, currently serving as Co Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions at Sheffield Hallam University since February 2003. In this role, Carol leads initiatives for UK student recruitment and widening participation, ensuring strategic alignment with the university’s objectives. Previous positions include Head of Outreach and Widening Participation and Schools and Colleges Liaison Manager, where Carol managed outreach efforts and developed recruitment strategies. Carol held roles at the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association, including UK Vice-Chair, and served as Admissions Officer at Liverpool Hope University. Carol's educational background includes degrees from Swansea University and Sheffield Hallam University.
