Tim Burg, CEcD, has extensive experience in economic development, currently serving as the Director of Economic Development for Shawnee Forward since July 2018 and as the Executive Director for the Shawnee Economic Development Foundation since January 2009, focusing on enhancing economic conditions for businesses in Shawnee and the surrounding area. Previously, Tim served as an instructor at the Community Development Institute and the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute, mentoring individuals pursuing professional designations in economic development. Tim's earlier experience includes a role as the Assistant Director for the Ponca City Development Authority. Tim's educational background includes attendance at the University of Oklahoma and Northwestern High School in Sciota, Illinois.
