Tyler Upton has been working in the technology field since 2011, when they began as a Technical Support at Ball State University. In 2012, they joined Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as a Systems Engineer, Server and Performance Support, and was later promoted to Senior Systems Engineer, Server and Performance Support. In 2015, they moved to Genesys as a Senior Engineer, Cloud Operations. In 2020, they joined Infosys as a Technology Lead, where they were responsible for training the global implementation engineering team on Genesys technologies and processes, as well as managing the Cloud Operations team's transition from Genesys to Infosys. Tyler also joined SharpenCX in 2020, where they held the roles of Site Reliability Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer II.

Tyler Upton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology from Ball State University between 2008 and 2012. Tyler then obtained several certifications; Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2020, ICCE 3.0 and ICCE 4.0 from Genesys | Interactive Intelligence in December 2012, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert.
