István Kovács, PhD has a diverse work experience. István started their career in 2013 as a Researcher at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they were involved in OTKA Projects on reverse engineering and surface modeling. István also engaged in teaching responsibilities. In 2017, István joined Shapr3D, initially as a Software Engineer and later advanced to the role of Staff Software Engineer. István has contributed significantly to the development of software applications during their tenure at Shapr3D.

István Kovács, PhD completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2010 to 2013. István then pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics at the same institution from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2015 to 2018.
