Xing Li Wang is an accomplished executive and academic with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. Currently serving as Executive President at Fosun Pharma since January 2023, Xing Li Wang is also the Head of Global R&D and Co-CEO of the Innovative Medicine Business Division, focusing on delivering innovative medicine to patients worldwide. In addition to this role, Xing Li Wang has been an Adjunct Professor at Baylor College of Medicine since March 2003 and held several senior positions at Novartis, including Global Drug Development (China) Head and Senior Global Program Clinical Head, where efforts were concentrated on cardiorenal metabolism drug development. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Merck, the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, UNSW, and Prince of Wales Hospital. Xing Li Wang holds an M.D., a PhD in Cardiovascular Science, an MBBS, and a Master's degree in Pathophysiology, with educational background from UNSW, Shandong Medical College, and Beijing Medical University.
