Dale Anderson

Teacher On Special Assignment at Shakopee Public Schools

Dale Anderson has extensive experience in education and union leadership, currently working as a Teacher on Special Assignment while serving as the full-time President of the Shakopee Education Association. Since August 1990, Dale has held various roles within Shakopee Public Schools, including High Potential Coordinator and High School Social Studies Teacher, where coursework varied across social studies disciplines. In addition to educational responsibilities, Dale has been the Negotiations/Professional Rights Chair for the Shakopee Education Association since September 1995, advocating for members’ professional rights and serving as a key liaison between the Association, district leadership, and the community. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Teacher Leadership from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s in Educational Technology from Lesley University, complemented by a Bachelor’s in Social Studies Education from St. Olaf College.
