Melinda Rice is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate and CILEx Fellow at Shakespeare Martineau since June 2024. Prior to this role, Melinda held the position of Senior Associate and CILEx Fellow at mfg Solicitors LLP from May 2019 to May 2024, and previously worked as an Associate and Chartered Legal Executive at TalbotsLaw from October 2016 to May 2019. Melinda started the legal career at Shakespeare Martineau as a Legal Executive in August 2007, specializing in Private Client matters, and earlier held roles as a Legal Secretary at Fleet Legal and as a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Melinda's educational background includes a Master's degree in Law from The University of Law and a Chartered Legal Executive qualification from CILEx Law School, along with degrees in Law, Criminology, and History from Sheffield Hallam University and East Texas A&M University.
