Christopher Willis has over 15 years of work experience in various roles in human resources and marketing. Christopher started their career in 2001 as the C.O.P.E. Course & Climbing Director at Boy Scouts of America and later worked as a Graduate Assistant at West Virginia University. In 2006, they joined PolyOne as an HR Generalist & Recruiter and then moved on to Covestro as an Associate in NAFTA Human Resources. In 2007, they worked as a Project Manager of Human Resources at Mylan and then as the Director of Human Resources at Wisp Resort. In 2009, they joined SDI Gas, LLC and later Shaft Drillers International as a Human Resources Manager and progressed to become the Human Resources Director. In 2010, they took up the role of Director of Human Resources & Information Technology at Shaft Drillers International and eventually became the CHRO / Director of Human Resources & Marketing. Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated their skills and expertise in various areas of human resources and marketing.
Christopher Willis completed their education in the following chronological order:
1. From 2001 to 2005, Christopher attended West Virginia University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History with a minor in Political Science.
2. In 2006 and 2007, Christopher attended the WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations.
Additionally, Christopher has obtained several certifications over the years:
1. In October 2022, they obtained the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification from the American Heart Association.
2. In June 2022, they became a Notary Public certified by the State of West Virginia.
3. In May 2015, they received the SafeLandUSA certification from PEC Safety.
4. In November 2013, they completed the OSHA 10 - Construction Safety and Health training offered by the U.S. Department of Labor.
5. In February 2012, they earned the OSHA 30 Hour - Construction Safety & Health certification from the U.S. Department of Labor.
6. In October 2009, they became an MSHA Instructor - Part 48 - Underground & Surface certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.
