Elise Batten is an Associate Footwear Designer at Oboz Footwear, where responsibilities include conducting research and developing innovative, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly footwear solutions. Prior experience includes an Industrial Design Internship at SGW Designworks, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to create various prototypes and product strategies. As President of the Industrial Designers Society of America Chapter at Western Washington University, Elise mentored over 20 students and increased chapter attendance significantly. Additional roles include Student Engagement Liaison at WWU, focusing on social media content for the Engineering and Design department, and internships at HP, where skills in UX/UI design and CAD applications were honed. Elise holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Western Washington University, with academic tenure spanning 2019 to 2024.
