Qianru Guo is a Senior Project Manager and Senior Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) since February 2015, with previous roles as Consulting Engineer and Staff II in Fire Safety. In addition, Qianru has served as an Adjunct Professor at New York University since June 2021. Prior experience includes being a Student Investigator at the University of Michigan, where a qualitative study was designed to investigate the impact of summer research on female civil engineering students, as well as serving as a Research Assistant, focusing on structural performance simulations and fire safety analyses. Qianru's academic qualifications include a PhD in Structural Engineering, two Masterā€™s degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and a Bachelorā€™s degree in Civil Engineering, all from the University of Michigan and Tongji University.
