Sophia Sklar is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as an Analyst in the Software & Technology Division at SG Credit Partners since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Portfolio Manager on the Healthcare Team at Sagehen Capital Management, a student-run hedge fund with $1.3MM in AUM, from January 2021 to May 2024. Additionally, Sophia worked as a Due Diligence Analyst for Women Founders Network, where comprehensive analyses on a Series A startup were executed, culminating in a successful pitch to Venture Capitalists. Previous internships included positions as a Private Debt Summer Analyst at Audax Group and a Summer Analyst at Atalaya Capital Management, focusing on private credit and investment opportunities. Sophia also served as Chief Financial Officer at Snapdragon Health and participated as a Fellow in Sage Corps, an entrepreneurship program connecting students with startups. Sophia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics and French honors from Claremont McKenna College and a high school diploma from The Nightingale-Bamford School.
